A dog who was found abandoned in a garbage bag has been rescued and given every fighting chance he could get.
Rescuers at a pet adoption center were quick to respond to a report of a dog abandoned in a pile of trash. When they arrived, they discovered a lifeless puppy wrapped in a garbage bag on the side of the road.
“We received reports of a dog being left in a dump; when we arrived, we saw that the poor little dog was having a convulsion; he was really sick; that was probably the reason.” His owner has abandoned him and does not care for him…” they said.
They acted quickly to get the little puppy out of the bag and check on his condition. She was clearly sick and weak, and no one knew how long she would live. Its previous owners may have gotten rid of it, assuming it would die anyway.
After being removed from the bag, she began to convulse and appeared to be on the verge of death. Unlike her previous owners, her rescuers did not abandon her.
The little pup was given a blanket and a comfy place to sleep when she arrived at her new home.
The poor guy had convulsions and was sick for several days. Although she appeared to be dying at any moment, rescuers remained committed to nursing her back to health. They did everything they could to give her a second chance at life, including bottle feeding her.
Despite her weakness, the little pup gradually improved over time. It took a while, but she was finally able to walk!
Her rehabilitation did not end there as she remained ill, underweight and socially isolated.
After a month, she was noticeably stronger and looked healthier! The little pup remained afraid of humans, but it seemed she had come to trust those who saved her life. We can only speculate what would have happened if they had not persevered and taken care of it.
