Detroit, Michigan A homeless dog named Bear became so depressed by his isolated life that he stopped searching for food. On Sunday, the Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG) posted a video of the bear with the following caption:
The bear is so depressed that he cannot even lift his head to eat; It gets boring when you stare at the same walls for about five years in a kennel.
According to his adoption profile, Bear has a kind and loving disposition despite his tragic past:
Even though it was shunned by its previous owner… you’d never guess that, right? He does not harbor any resentment! You’ve never seen a more adorable baby! Bear is a loyal, friendly couch potato who just wants to be loved. He’s a sweet, cheerful, happy puppy looking for a home where he can get all the love he needs!
The bear is potty and crate trained and can follow simple instructions.
However, no one wants to give Bear a chance, and the isolation is clearly having an effect. The rescue organization claims Bear is a couch potato who adores people. But his new home should not contain any cats or small dogs.
Please spread the word about adopting Bear so he can find his happily ever after. There is someone perfect for him!
