beautiful puppy, later called Bella, spent her life in a municipal shelter.
Dog shelters in Romania are not like those in the United States. Dogs are routinely kept outdoors in less than optimal conditions. Due to the poverty of Romania, shelters do not receive enough food from donations, so the dogs do not eat as much as they should.
Bella was scared and underweight. She had never been embraced or loved before. Her morale was shattered by her stay at the shelter. The video below shows a dog howling, a Romanian rescue organization, removing Bella from the shelter in order to find a permanent home for her.
Rescuers and Bella run to the vet. Her face is expressionless as she sits next to her new human acquaintances in the car. She realizes that her life will change when she is given love.
Bella was very exhausted. Bella barely sleeps, according to shelter staff. I struggled to feel safe in the kennel. Her eyes start to close as she sits there patting. It’s nice to watch her finally relax.
Then Bella does something really touching. She puts her head in the lap of her rescuer. She is able to sleep while they are traveling to the vet’s office. The car is peaceful and quiet, and the lady next to her looks kind and friendly. This was just what Bella needed. A dog’s sense of security is vital.
Bella has found her permanent home and has been living a happy life since recording this video. Please share the word about Bella’s little video and narration. Everyone should be there to see the first moments of serenity for a shelter dog. Giving homes to dogs that are already in shelters and need affection is crucial.
