A man came to Detroit Animal Care and Control early in the morning to drop off his dogs, said the volunteer woman, whose shift is just beginning. In any case, the man left the dogs and disappeared without waiting for the woman to collect the necessary papers.
The volunteer, who was very confused, found two puppies after searching the area, and found them trapped inside the play area, huddled near the fence in fear.
The puppies, who have been named SpongeBob and Zeus, are brown. Fortunately, Zeus was adopted by the perfect people. On the other hand, SpongeBob is still waiting for his forever home.
He is now very popular at the shelter, playing with the puppies and other children who visit the shelter.
